I am more than convinced that I do not belong in the twenty-first century, but in fact, I should have been alive in the days of horse-drawn carts and chivalrous gentlemen.
There are so many things about the modern day world that I just cannot relate to, and so many things about the olden days that I just adore.
I belong in the times when the English language was spoken properly and slang was non-exitsant. The days when photos were in black and white and women dressed elegantly in corsets and ballgowns instead of mini-skirts and crop tops. The days when a man would ride on horseback through the countryside to the home of his sweetheart to confess his undying love for her. The days when woman still knew how to cook and make clothing and didn't work 9-5 whilst their children sat in a daycare centre, and the days where the only way to stay in touch was a letter in the mail.
I love the hairstyles, the fashion, the simplicity of life and the somewhat 'innocence' of life in the olden days.
