This morning I caught the bus with my friend to explore Paddinton Market on upper Oxford Street, held every Saturday.
If there's one thing about me, it's that I could never dream of turning down a trip to a market. I thrive on them. Back in Durban however, they are pretty scarce, a sad reality for an avid thrifter like myself.
When I got wind of their being a stunning weekend Market in Paddington, I just had to visit, and I wasn't disappointed.
The market is held in the courtyard of an exquisitely built church, and boasts some 200 stalls selling a wide variety of Australian-made goods as well as ornaments, clothing, accessories, vintage items, artwork, and antiques.
I personally fell in love with all the hand-made jewellery and clothing items as well as the antique tea-cups which I seem to be developing a slight fetish for.
I bought myself a pair cute of pyjama shorts from a store called 'Frou Frou' which I'm sure I will make much use of this summer.
So if you're in Sydney, love thrifting and browsing market stalls, head down to Paddington Market, it won't disappoint
